Smartphone brand OnePlus has officially started offline sales with the launch of its first Authorized Store in Irla, Vile Parle (West) in Mumbai. This store will offer OnePlus users in Mumbai a chance to experience and purchase OnePlus products. The store is part of the company’s focus on creating more offline touch points across key cities in India to allow users to experience the phone sales.

According to a statement from the company, the offline expansion is driven by the need to be able to reach out to more users and efficiently complement its online-only business model.

In September last year, OnePlus partnered with select Croma stores to provide easy access to OnePlus products. The maiden store in Mumbai will enable customers to experience OnePlus phones first hand, use, and test the device thoroughly before buying it.

Earlier last year, the brand launched its flagship Experience Store in Bangalore. The Experience store in Bangalore is a hub for the OnePlus community to not only experience the product offerings, but also come together to collaborate, share new ideas and learn.

“Customer satisfaction has always been at the core of OnePlus’ strategy. The new ‘OnePlus Authorized Store’ is designed to complement our online first business strategy and also attract new users while serving as a destination for our fast growing community to experience and purchase OnePlus products,” Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India, said.

Starting January 20, 2018, the ‘OnePlus Authorized Store’ in Mumbai will offer several offers such as free Bullet V2 earphones with smartphone purchases and will also sell its newly launched OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition.

The OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition will be available with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and features dual-camera system of 16 and 20 MP sporting f/1.7 aperture on both lenses for better low-light photography.
