With the release of one of the most awaited movies of the year -- Star Wars: The Last Jedi -- around the corner, Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has announced the launch of OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition. This special edition is also to celebrate the anniversary of OnePlus in India on Dec 02, 2017.
It was first revealed at the Comic Con that happened in Bangalore over the weekend.
While the OnePlus 5T — Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone will be launched on December 14 in Mumbai, it will go on sale starting December 15 across all channels including on Amazon.in, oneplusstore.in and OnePlus experience zones in Bangalore and Noida. Reports suggest that the company will be selling only 15,000 devices of this special edition.
While the OnePlus 5T comes in one colour variant – midnight black, the OnePlus 5T — Star Wars Limited Edition comes with the logo of Star Wars on its back cover and is styled in black and white, which seems to be paying homage to the Stormtroopers.

Similar to the OnePlus 5T launch, this launch will also happen at a PVR screen and OnePlus is letting fans be a part of the event by purchasing tickets for Rs 999 on Paytm.
OnePlus 5T is the successor of OnePlus 5 and was launched in November. While most of the specification of 5T are the same as 5, 5T comes with a bezel-free display, an enhanced camera and Face unlock feature.
The OnePlus 5T comes with a 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 display and is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor. It comes in two variants - 6GB or 8GB RAM. It runs on OxygenOS, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The phone comes with a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge feature. The main rear camera features a 16MP sensor while the secondary rear camera is using an 20MP sensor. The front camera is of 16MP. OnePlus 5T costs Rs 32,999 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM variant costs Rs 37,999.
