OnePlus, the smartphone company does appear to be good at leaking information about its forthcoming products and thereby keeping the interests of the prospective buyers alive.

This time the communication from the company has come in the form of a teaser posted on its official Twitter handle. A photo appears in this teaser along with the question “What do you 5ee?” What the analysts understand from the image posted in Twitter is that the new OnePlus 5 is going to be of the same or even a slightly smaller size than the OnePlus 3T phone released earlier. The company might look to call it a ‘compact’ design. There is corroboration of this by a statement from the Company’s CEO that the OnePlus 5 might turn out to be the slimmest flagship phone yet.

Some other pieces of information have also been disclosed by different sites that keep a close eye on such developments in the smartphone market. One of these relates to the size of the battery and that it would be 3300mAh as against 3400mAh in the OnePlus 3T. The reduction in the thickness of the phone might have contributed to keeping the batter size smaller as well.

The earlier reports have already suggested that the OnePlus 5 will come with the Snapdragon 835 processor and it would be a 5.5-inch display phone.

Android Authority also leaked some pictures once it got its hands on the alleged OnePlus 5 retail box and if the leaked images are to be believed, the OnePlus 5 will have a dual camera setup on the phone and the box comes with the tagline ‘Dual Camera. Clearer Pictures.’

There are even estimates on the prices at which the new phone will be sold by OnePlus. The projected price is 3000CNY which translates to around Rs 28, 300. This estimate has been very roughly made based on the assumption that the company keeps increasing the price every time a new flagship is launched and since the last phone was sold at around Rs 25, 000, 28,000 seems logical. But most of what has been mentioned here are in the realm of speculation and one does not really have to wait for long to get the real details since the launch date is expected to be June 15.

Also, what its final pricing could be, will be known only when the OnePlus 5 hits the Indian market.
