Director Omar Lulu's Dhamaka is gearing up to hit screens. The makers have announced that the film will be hitting the screens on November 28. The film has Arun, who played the role of Tony Isaac in Olympian Anthony Adam about two decades ago, playing the lead role. Omar also revealed recently went that when a producer did not want Arun to be a part of the star cast, he simply switched over to another producer as he was set on having him as the hero.
Touted to be a full-on comedy entertainer, the film's story is penned by Omar Lulu, while screenplay and dialogues are written jointly by Sarang Jayaprakash, Venu OV and Kiran Lal. Nikki Galrani will be seen as the female lead.
Bankrolled by MK Nasser, the film also stars Mukesh and Urvashi who will be seen playing pivotal roles. Neha Saxena, Noorin Shereef, Shalin Zoya, Sabumon Abdusamad, Hareesh Kanaran and Dharmajan Bolgatty are also part of the supporting cast. The technical crew comprises Sinoj P Ayyappan as the cinematographer, Gopi Sunder as the music director, and Dilip Dennis as the editor.
Director Omar Lulu shot to limelight with two of his films Happy Wedding and Chunkzz turning out to be massive hits. However, his last outing, Oru Adaar Love failed to meet the expectations of audiences despite the high popularity it garnered before its release thanks to its heroine Priya Prakash Warrier’s wink in a song. Her wink in one of the songs in the film went viral among the netizens which not only catapulted her to star status but also upped the expectation levels for the film.
