After launching the Nubia N2, the next in line, the Nubia M2 is now being released for the Indian market next week. The interesting part is the phone is being sold exclusively to Amazon Prime customers under the Prime Sale being run by the online retailer, on the July 10 and 11. The price at which the members of this exclusive club can buy the Nubia M2 Rs 22, 999.

The Nubia M2 sports an all metal body with a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display in a resolution and the phone comes in two distinct colors, champagne gold and black gold.

With dimensions of 154.5mmx75.9mmx7mm, ZTE claims that at 7mm thickness, their new release is the thinnest smartphone with a dual camera setup. Yes, the Nubia M2 boasts of two identical 13MP cameras; one is a RGB sensor and the other a monochrome one.

There is a depth of field calculator and this is supported by a dual ISP engine, one of which is drawn from the main processor. The front camera is even bigger 16MP sensor, which the company calls an ISOCELL CMOS sensor.

Besides all these, ZTE also claims an exclusive Neo Vision technology, aimed at noise reduction while clicking pictures under low-light conditions.

The powertrain is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 on the back of 4GB RAM and the internal storage is 64GB. The phone has a 3630mAh battery. All connectivity options are also provided in the phone.

It may be relevant to recall here that ZTE had launched the Nubia M2 Lite including in India at a much lower price (around Rs 14,000) but it did not have the dual camera setup. Similarly, there was the Nubia N2 before that which had a 5000mAh battery.

It is also learnt that ZTE is in talks with Amazon to make the Nubia M2 available to customers beyond the Prime sale days as well.
