When Interstellar came to theatres, audiences left movie halls perplexed, discussing complex physics concepts of time, light and multiple dimensions.
Heads up, spoilers ahead.
To shed some light on the intense movie which requires a lot of effort to get one's mind around, Interstellar director Christopher Nolan has created a comic depicting the prequel to Cooper’s journey into space.
The director himself teamed up with artist Sean Gordon Murphy, Matt Hollingsworth, and Tana Fordand and ‘revealed’ the ‘Lost Chapter of Interstellar’ through Wired, which has given some more background to the story.
Before the space mission to find a new home in space, NASA attempts the Lazarus mission to find a suitable home.

What happened to Dr. Mann before Cooper went on his planet? asks Wired.
The comic based on Dr. Mann explains his interaction with robot Kipp whom audiences find disabled when Cooper reaches Mann's planet in the home to find a suitable home.
The comic explains Mann's thoughts as he realises the truth about the planet he currently inhabits. A few more chapters like this from Nolan could do no harm for movie lovers.
