The News Minute | March 5, 2015 | 08.10 am ISTWhen a Tamil magazine wrote a story critical of the DMKDK , a group of DMDK supporters gathered outside the magazine’s office protesting against the written story. The supporters began shouting slogans and squatted on the road outside the office on Purasawalkam High Road which disrupted traffic, reported Times of India. Not only did they block the office’s entrance, they also tore posters of the magazine which had been pasted outside the building and burnt copies of the magazine. The protest which also included some stone-throwing was after an article by the ‘Kumudham’ magazine wrote that the DMDK party faced a bleak future which could also mean that it could be soon dissolved and merged with the BJP, said the report.The protest comes just a week after DMDK party men lodged a complaint that their leader Vijayakanth was being mocked on social media.Read Dear Vijayakanth, please don’t lose your sense of humour, you were rareTweetFollow @thenewsminute
