Prabhas’s Saaho is one of the most anticipated films in the making. The star shot to the limelight for his role in Baahubali and his fan base increased throughout India.
This is one of the reasons why his fans have such high expectations from Saaho, an action entertainer shot on a high budget.
Directed by Sujeeth, the film is bankrolled by V. Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations on a budget of Rs. 300 crores. Several top stars, including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lal, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunkey Pandey have been roped in to play crucial roles in this film.
Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor will be pairing up with Prabhas in this flick. Actor Lal, who was the latest actor to be signed, revealed that none of the actors know exactly what the story is about. He also said that when the makers of Saaho approached him, he was not told who the hero was but he agreed to hop onboard after knowing about his role.
“It’s a positive role. There is a lot of shoot left and the movie will be released only next year. I don’t think they have narrated the entire story to anybody,” said the actor. On the film’s progress, we hear that the makers are currently concentrating on completing the action block which will be shot entirely abroad.
Sources in the know say that the film may not be out at the theatres this year as speculated and its release may be during the first quarter of 2019. Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy are composing music for this venture with R Madhi cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing it. Saaho is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
