On Monday, an ecstatic actor Parvathy shared a picture with Kanchanamala on her Instagram account. Parvathy was clearly happy about watching her movie ‘Ennu Ninde Moideen’ with Kanchanamala, the woman whose story was portrayed in the movie. Parvathy played the role of Kanchanamala in the movie.

Amongst the many likes and comments that the picture received, there was one that said, ’Poyi Thuru dii’, a crass way if saying ‘Go poop, woman.”

Receiving sexist and derogatory comments on their social media accounts is not new for actors, but Parvathy says she decided to react this time.

“What a great day, people! Here, let me introduce you to Alfred. When I posted a photo of Kanchanamala and I watching ENM together, this most cultured boy felt the need to ask me to "go poop". Proud moment for his family! Proud moment for us, we seem to churn out cyber bullies at such a tender age! Here I break my silence. No more of this, people. No one is taking this anymore. I'm not turning a blind eye anymore. This is for all those who suffer bullying in silence. Time for manners to make a comeback! It's time.”

She then added on her Instagram post, “Please be kind to the wayward child, people. Aim is to not destroy his life, but to hopefully educate him. Manners are so underrated these days. Sigh.”

Seriously, manners need to make a comeback.
