Actor Nivin Pauly has signed a new film with director Ram. This will be his third Tamil film. Producer Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions, who is bankrolling the project, took to social media to confirm the news. The production banner is also currently producing director Silambarasan starrer Maanaadu. Sharing the news on Twitter along with a poster, Suresh wrote: "A new journey begins with the prestigious names of South Indian cinema." He also announced that the yet-to-be-titled project will also star actors Anjali and Soori and have music by popular composer Yuvan Shankar Raja.
In the announcement poster, we see images of a hunter, deer and tiger and the poster seems to be inspired from the style used in folk paintings such as the Warli folk paintings. The three symbols used in the red and white poster are likely to be associated with the characters of the three leading actors in the movie. The poster has left fans intrigued. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the project and announce whether the movie will be released in other languages too.
The critically acclaimed movie Peranbu, which starred Mollywood star Mammootty, was Ram’s last release. Actor-comedian Soori will be next seen in Vetri Maaran’s VIduthalai. He will be essaying one of the lead roles in the movie. He will also be sharing the screen with Vijay Sethupathi.
