Nivin Pauly’s Premam was one of the biggest hits of all time in Mollywood and the film is all set to be re-released as a Valentine’s Day Special. Posting the news on his social networking page, the star wrote: “Valentine’s Day special screening of Premam at Luxe, Chennai, from 10-02-2017 to 16-02-2017. Booking on jazzcinemas.com Enjoy.”
Premam was the first Malayalam film to have been screened for more than 250 days in Chennai.
Directed by Alphonse Puthren, the film has Nivin Pauly playing the hero with three heroines - Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi, and Anupama Parameswaran in the star cast. Other actors in important roles are: Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Shankar, Vinay Forrt, and Soubin Shahir.
Premam was produced by Anwar Rasheed under his banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainment. The film was also remade in Telugu under the same title starring Naga Chaitanya, Shruti Haasan, Madonna Sebastian, and Anupama Parameswaran.
Other Valentine’s Day special movies that will be screened at Jazz Cinemas are the Arya-Nayanthara starrer Raja Rani and the Simbu-Trisha starrer Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya. With three romance flicks at the theatres, it is a treat for all those in love this Valentine’s Day.
