The News Minute | December 6, 2014 | 7:20 am IST The list of 1,200 applications received for the TTD board membership has been narrowed down to 30 which is likely to be constituted by Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu in the next few days. The names include the likes of Nita Ambani from the Reliance Group, film director K Raghavendra Rao and AP BJP spokesperson G Banuprakash Reddy. BJP leaders including Amit Shah and Union Minister Sadanand Gowda have recommended names from other states of the country, a report in The Times of India adds. According to convention, there are 15 members in the TTD board including the chairman but Naidu is believed to have increased it to 18 to accommodate the new Telugu speaking state of Telangana. There is still a lot of speculation about who the chairman will be but the talk around the area suggests that it could be senior TDP leader Chadalawada Krishnamurthy. Apart from the 18-member board, the TTD management is also likely to comprise of a commissioner.
