Nani is busy shooting for his upcoming Telugu movie Gang Leader and this film’s release is slated for August 30. Meanwhile, there are reports that the star will be starring in a film to be made under KS Rama Rao’s banner Creative Commercials. The producer and actor are currently in the process of roping in a director with an excellent script for the project but they haven’t signed up anyone yet. Sources in the know say that they have a few directors in mind and will be announcing the name soon.
The shooting of Nani’s upcoming film Gang Leader had to be stalled as he was injured and was advised complete rest for a week. The team is planning to resume the shooting in Delhi soon.
It may be noted here that ever since it was announced that the film is titled Gang Leader, netizens, particularly mega star Chiranjeevi’s fans, have been discussing the suitability of the title for a Nani starrer. Gang Leader is the title of one of the biggest hits that had Chiranjeevi as its main lead; therefore, his fans feel that it should be used for his son Ram Charan Teja’s films.
Despite a big round of discussion going on in social media, looks like the makers of Nani’s film will be retaining the title. Of course, Nani’s fans are happy over the title announcement and are waiting eagerly for more news on this Vikram Kumar directorial.
We hear that the filmmakers are planning to complete the entire schedule by June 30 to keep up with the planned release date.
The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravishankar and Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers with Vikram K Kumar wielding the megaphone. Anirudh is composing music for Gang Leader.
