Producer S Radha Krishna of Haarika & Haasini Creations will be producing a film under his other banner Sithara Entertainments. To be directed by Gautham Thinnanoori, the film will be the fifth production venture from the production house. Therefore, it will be referred as Sithara No: 5 until a proper title is chosen.
It may be noted here that the director shot to limelight with his film Malli Raava, which had Sumanth in the lead role. For the current project, the director has roped in Nani to play the male lead. It may be mentioned here that Sithara Entertainments had bankrolled Naga Chaitanya’s Premam and Venkatesh’s Babu Bangaram which were hits and is currently bankrolling Naga Chaitanya’s Sailaja Reddy Alludu and the Sharwanand starrer which is being directed by Sudheer Varma.
On the other hand, Nani’s last release was Krishnarjuna Yudham, which hit the silver screens in December last year. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film had Nani playing dual roles for the first time in his career.
Basking in the success of Bharath Ane Nenu, director Koratala Siva may also team up with Nani for his next. The film will be bankrolled by leading distributor Sudhakar who had distributed films in the Krishna district and he will be debuting as producer with this venture. Sudhakar was initially planning to produce a Jr NTR film with Koratala Siva but it did not happen.
While he is a popular actor with a big fan base, a producer and voiceover artiste, Nani has begun a new phase in his career by turning a television host. He is currently hosting the most popular reality show, Bigg Boss Telugu season 2. The show is being aired on Star Maa TV and has gained the attention of the audiences in a big way. It may be mentioned here that Jr NTR had hosted the first season of the show and it was a huge hit with the TRPs skyrocketing.
Nani, in his long career in the film industry, has won several prestigious awards including the prestigious Nandi Award by the Andhra Government for playing the lead role in Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu.
