A few days ago, there were reports that Nani and Dulquer Salmaan would share the screen space in a Telugu film. According to the latest buzz, this is a thriller that will have the audiences at the edge-of-the-seat throughout the screening. Earlier, Sharwanand was the choice to play the role offered to Dulquer Salmaan, but he could not join on board for various reasons. Finally, Dulquer took it up after the director convinced him that it is a performance-oriented meaty role.

Reports are that Nani will be seen playing a cop in it and Dulquer’s role is being kept under wraps for now. Wielding the megaphone for this untitled venture will be Indraganti Mohan Krishna and Dil Raju will be bankrolling it under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The shooting of this film will kick start soon and an official word on it will be out with all the details regarding the rest of the star cast and crew.

Dulquer has been successfully juggling his projects in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu film industries. The star made a mark with the Mani Ratnam directorial OK Bangaram and his latest Telugu film release Mahanati, in which he played the legendary hero Gemini Ganesan, earned him a large fan base in the Telugu film industry.

The star is currently busy with the Malayalam movie Oru Yamandan Premakadha directed by BC Boufal, who will be making his debut. The film’s script has been penned by popular writer duo Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George.

It may be noted here that Dulquer has the Bollywood flick Zoya Factor right now needing his attention. The film is based on the novel with the same title penned by Anuja Chauhan. It is about an advertising agency executive, Zoya Singh Solanki getting to meet the Indian Cricket Team and turning out to be their lucky mascot which eventually helps the team to lift the Cricket World Cup in 2010.
