Nagarjuna in NTR’s biopic?

If reports doing the rounds in tinsel town are to be believed, Nagarjuna may be playing a cameo in the upcoming biopic of the legendary actor and political leader NTR, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

A Nageswara Rao and NTR were the two stalwarts that ruled Tollywood with their indomitable screen presence several decades ago; so it is quite natural that the former has a role in the latter’s biopic.

Sources say that Balakrishna, NTR’s son, is keen on roping in ANR’s son Nagarjuna to do a cameo and if things work out it will be a great treat for the film buffs. Apparently, there are some differences of opinion between Nagarjuna and Balayya over the making of Gundamma Katha which Nagarjuna did not want to be made into a film as it would dilute the essence of the classic.

However, Balayya is keen on setting aside the differences for the sake of the biopic so that things will work in his favour. It may be mentioned here that the star is yet to finalise on a suitable director to helm the biopic. There is a rumour that KS Ravi Kumar may be signed up to handle the biopic but there is no official word on it yet.
