The trailer of Naga Chaitanya starrer Savyasachi is out and has garnered the attention of the film buffs. The one and a half minute trailer begins and ends with Madhavan on screen. Naga Chaitanya seems to have an interesting role in the film with a right mixture of romance, action, sentiment and comedy. MM Keeravani’s score to the trailer is another highlight.

The film is loaded with action scenes and many of it has been shot in the United States, where the team had camped for several days, we hear from sources. The film which was originally planned to be a June release was postponed as the filmmakers decided to re-shoot a few sequences. Now it is scheduled to hit the marquee on November 2 and the post-production is happening along with its promos.

The film was originally planned as a summer release this year but had to be postponed for various reasons. With a positive buzz surrounding it, Savyasachi’s theatrical rights have been sold out in the two Telugu states – Andhra and Telangana. The rights have been picked up for a whopping Rs 9.5 crore, say sources. Also, the right in Karnataka has been sold for a good price, add sources.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film marks his second time association with Naga Chaitanya with their first being the Premam remake.

Naga Chaitanya is paired opposite Nidhi Agarwal in this action-packed entertainer. R Madhavan and Bhumika Chawla will be seen in important roles in it as well. The film is bankrolled by Mohan Cherukuri, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchi and Naveen Yerneni under the banner Mythri Movie Makers and its technical crew includes MM Keeravani for music composition, J Yuvaraj for cinematography, Venkateswara Rao Kotagiri for editing, S Rama Krishna and Monika Niggotre for art direction, and Ram and Lakshmi Chella for stunt choreography.
