Basking in the success of Lucifer, its writer Murali Gopy made an announcement about his next project. A post on his official Facebook page read: “Have agreed to do this interestingly wacky cross-genre film by Maqbool Mansoor; my next as an actor. Really looking forward.”

Vala Vala, to be directed by Maqbool Mansoor, is written by Sam Jose. Murali Gopy, who is an accomplished writer and actor, will be playing an important role in this film. According the post on the social media page, we understand that it is a tale told with a different approach. Besides Murali Gopy, Vala Vala will also have Anwar Shereef in an important role.

Murali Gopy has a number of films to his credit as a writer and actor. He has written and acted in films such as Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Tiyaan, Left Right Left, apart from Kammara Sambhavam and Lucifer, which are the biggest hits in his career.

Murali’s latest release, Lucifer, is doing well at the theatres with the box office collections soaring. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Lucifer has Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith, and the Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Those in the supporting roles include Kalabhavan Shajon, Sai Kumar, Saniya Iyappan, director Fazil, Sunil Sughatha, Thara Kalyan, Praveena Thomas, Nyla Usha and Mala Parvathy. The technical crew of the film comprises Sujith Vasudevan for cinematography and Samjith for editing while Stephen Devassy is in charge of the music composition. The political thriller was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

Being a multifaceted personality, Murali Gopy has won numerous awards in his career, including South Indian International Movie Award for Best Actor in Supporting Role, 61st Filmfare Award South for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Vanitha Film Award for Best Anti-Hero, Mohan Raghavan Award for Best Scriptwriter and the Sathyan Memorial Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
