Motion poster of ‘James’ to be released on Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday

Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday is just around the corner and there is some exciting news for all his fans. To coincide with the Power Star’s birthday on March 17, the makers of his upcoming film James have decided to release its motion poster along with an official announcement. James is helmed by director Chetan Kumar and the project is bankrolled by Kishore Pathikonda. According to reports, James will be a complete entertainer with all the massy elements included and the groundwork is progressing briskly to ensure that the film goes on the floors soon. Sources in the know say that it will be on the lines of James Bond films with an Indian flavour.

In the meantime, Puneeth is busy with Yuva Ratna, which is being directed by Santosh Ananddram. The film is bankrolled by Hombale Films. Santosh Ananddram and Puneeth Rajkumar had teamed up earlier for Raajakumara, which turned out to be a huge hit commercially. They are now getting back together for Yuva Ratna, which is slated to be out in theatres in mid 2019.

Chetan Kumar, who has earlier made films such as Bahaddhur and Bharjari, is currently directing Bharaate with Sriimurali and Sreeleela as the lead pair. Interestingly, this film will have nine villains, as the story requires nine baddies to fight it out with the hero. While Bharaate is touted to be a family entertainer, reports about the film having nine villains has raised the curiosity levels among movie buffs. Produced by Supreeth under his banner, the film will have Bhuvan Gowda cranking the camera with Mohan B Kere taking care of the art department.

Puneeth’s last film release was Natasarvabhowma, which hit the marquee last month. Directed by Pavan Wadeyar, the film was bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Productions. D Imman composed the music for this flick while the camera was handled by Vaidhi. Rachita Ram and Anupama Parameswaran played the female leads in this entertainer.
