With just a month to go for the elections, BDJS is in crisis as their symbol has not being sanctioned till now.

on Wednesday, Vellapally told Asianet that he is upset that he is campaigning without a party symbol.

So far, all banners and flexes are without party symbols.

The Election Commission had earlier made it clear that the Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS), the political outfit branching out of SNDP, cannot use the "folded palm" logo as its party symbol.

It was then reported how Congress party voiced its reservations against the "folded palm symbol" chosen by the newly floated party as it strikes a resemblance with the former's official party symbol.

The party which has a strong grip over Kerala’s Ezhava outfit is a natural ally of the BJP and will fight 20 constituencies for the forthcoming assembly elections.
