Malayalam superstar Mohanlal posted on Instagram, a picture in which he is with Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, raising a lot of speculations. The picture sparked off rumours that Sanjay Dutt may be a part of Mohanlal’s upcoming film Big Brother, but there is no official confirmation on it yet. Incidentally, the star captioned the picture: “Big Brother with Munna Bhai @duttsanjay.”
Big Brother, directed by Siddique, has Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan, Anoop Menon, Sarjano Khalid, Satna Titus and others in the cast. While Mohanlal, Anoop Menon and Sarjano Khalid play brothers in this flick, Arbaaz will be seen as a police officer. Big Brother is slated for release on December 20th this year.
It may be noted here that Sanjay Dutt’s visit to the sets of Telugu director Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film recently did trigger off rumours that he is playing a role in it. But there is no confirmation on it yet. The star, while on his visit, posed for a photo with Vishnu Manchu and Suniel Shetty, who is also a part of the cast.
Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt is making his debut in the Kannada film industry with KGF 2.
KGF: Chapter 1 and 2 are directed by Prashanth Neel, who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films is the producer. The film has Yash playing the lead role Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead.
Besides Big Brother, Mohanlal also has Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham waiting for release next year. It is currently in the post production stage. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film has Mohanlal playing the title role. Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, is produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T Kuruvilla and CJ Roy under their respective banners Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment.
