Marking an important day for all Mohanlal’s fans, the teasers of two highly anticipated films – Lucifer and Irupathiyonnam Noottandu – will be out on Thursday. While Lucifer has Mohanlal playing the lead role, in Irupathiyonnam Noottandu it will be his son Pranav in the lead. According to reports, the teaser of Lucifer will be out in the morning and Irupathiyonnam Noottandu’s teaser will be out in the evening.

Mohanlal’s fans are no doubt waiting for the teaser of Lucifer, but more significant is the release of Odiyan which has the star playing the title role. This film will be out on December 14. Interestingly, both the teasers will be attached to Odiyan on its theatrical release.

Odiyan marks the directorial debut of ad filmmaker VA Shreekumar Menon in the Malayalam film industry. The technical crew of the film includes M Jayachandran to compose the soundtrack while Sam CS is in charge of the BGM. Shaji Kumar is the cinematographer for this venture and John Kutty the editor. Odiyan is a high budget movie being bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

Lucifer marks the debut of actor Prithviraj as director. The film has Mohanlal in the lead role with Manju Warrier playing the lead opposite him. The technical crew of the film comprise Sujith Vasudevan for cinematography and Samjith for editing while Stephen Devassy will be in charge of the music composition. Veteran writer and actor Murali Gopy has penned the script for Lucifer, which is touted to be a political thriller.

In Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu, which is directed by Arun Gopy, Pranav Mohanlal plays a surfer and underwent basic surfing training in Bali to get into the skin of the character. The film’s technical crew is very impressive as well. Gopi Sunder is scoring the music for this flick with Hari Narayanan penning the lyrics. Abinandan Ramanjunam is cranking the camera and national award-winning editor Vivek Harshan will be handling the film’s editing. Sound designer Renganaath Ravee, stunt coordinator Peter Hein and art director Joseph Nellickal are also part of the technical team.
