‘Modi govt thriving on advertisement’: Highlights of Congress’ assessment at the end of two years

On the occasion of the Narendra Modi-led government finishing two years in office, principal opposition Congress on Thursday launched an all-out attack on the PM and the NDA government for ‘thriving on advertisements’.

 Addressing a press conference in the national capital,  leaders of opposition of both the houses- Mallikarjun Kharge and Ghulam Nabi Azad along with other senior party members,  made the following statements.

Make in India an abject failure, Babbar Sher is a meow cat. Make in India remains merely a slogan

Big achievements of this government are creation of social tension, provocation by BJP leaders, unnecessary controversies, mob violence

This Govt has been spreading fear. Dalit, women, students are living in fear

Two years of Modi Govt have been full of hollow promises. Government has been thriving on advertisements.

Government is all talk no governance

Core sector growth is negligible, rupee is sliding, inflation is very high Bhashan veer Modi do saal mein karamveer nahi ban paaye.Only bhashan no shaasan

Every 45 hours Modi delivers a speech, but never answers a single question

In terms of foreign policy, the government is Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam.

Our PM Manmohan Singh did not speak much, but his work spoke for itself

But PM Modi is always talking but there has been no improvement on the ground.

 

While concluding the press meet, senior leader and former minister Kapil Sibal said, “Khuda ke bande sambhal ja, waqt hai ab bhi badal ja.” (For God’s sake rectify, there is still time to change)
