A modelling agency that goes against preconceived beauty ideals - Misfit Models

The News Minute| November 24, 2014| 06.30 pm Beauty is a preconceived idea. At least in fashion circles and the modeling world, only people fitting into the required criteria usually make the cut. A successful former model , Del, based in Germany, has begun his own modelling agency after he didn't find the kind of work he was looking for. The speciality of this modeling agency labelled the ‘Misfit Models’ is that it does not have a restrictions on how an aspiring model should look.  "Do you stand for who and what you are, on the inside as well as the outside, but don't give a damn about what fashion dictates, the latest "Two Week Diet" or the right society-nose, nor do you possess the prescribed Body Mass Index? Then you could be the next, genuine MISFIT MODEL,” claims the Misfit Models website. As promised, Del has taken in a lot of unconventional looking models. Tall, short, thin, fat, young and old, pony-tailed and straight-cut, the variety is endless.  "I have a nose, I have two ears , eyes and a mouse. And they are not perfect I suppose.," says Del according to Journeyman.
