Born in the year of 1832, Jonathan has not only been witness to two world wars but many revolutions, he was also photographed with a 1902 Boer War prisoner, reports Telegraph. Jonathan, a tortoise of the species testudinidae cryptodira he was first brought to the island of St Helena, a British territory in the South Atlantic, in 1882. According to him, he loves people , loving the company around him on the island. Considering how slow tortoises already are, this 183 year-old creature is a wonder.
