Actress Manju Warrier's debut book 'Sallapam' was released at Sharjah Book Fair on Friday. She described her book as a compilation of her thoughts on childhood and random life musings.
Interestingly, Sallapam is the name of her first movie with actor Dileep, her ex-husband.
“It was an overwhelming experience to be a part of the August audience and share the stage with esteemed dignitaries at Sharjah International Book Fair 2014 which is one of the largest book festivals in the world.
Thank you DC books for inviting me as the guest of honour for the evening. They also released my book Sallapam and my dear friend and co star Kunchacko Boban graced the occasion. It is a dream come true to sit on a dias that hosted stalwarts and legendary authors like Dan Brown. Thank you God,” she posted on her facebook wall.
Actor Kunchacko Boban, made a fleeting appearance and presented the book to the book fair coordinator Mohankumar.
