Manju Warrier and Sunny Wayne will reportedly be teaming up for a horror film that will be directed by Salil and Ranjith. Jiss Toms will be bankrolling this venture. Details about this film such as the title, the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be out soon.

Meanwhile, Manju Warrier is expecting a slew of films to hit the silver screen. Of this lot, Jack and Jill has reached the post-production stage. The film’s cast also includes Kalidas Jayaram, Soubin Shahir, Nedumudi Venu, Aju Varghese, Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, Ramesh Pisharody and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Jack and Jill is a bilingual releasing in Malayalam and Tamil.

Manju also recently wrapped up the shooting of Kayattam. It is a film about mountaineering. Besides co-producing the film, Manju is also playing the lead role in it. Award winning filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan is wielding the megaphone for this venture with Manju Warrier co-producing it along with Shaji Mathew and Aruna Mathew. Apart from donning the director’s robes, Sanal has also penned the script and is in charge of editing and sound designing. The technical crew comprises Chandru Selvaraj for camerawork and Ratheesh Eettillam for music.

Manju’s other film in the pipeline is Prathi Poovankozhi. Rosshan Andrrews is directing the film with Gokulam Gopalan bankrolling it under his banner. Unni R has written the film. The technical crew includes G Balamurgan for cinematography, Jyotish Shankar for art direction and Gopi Sunder for music. Interestingly, Manju’s comeback film How Old Are You was also directed by Rosshan Andrrews.

Her last release was also her first in Tamil – Asuran, in which she acted opposite Dhanush. The film, directed by Vetrimaaran, dealt with the subject of caste discrimination. Manju played Pachaiamma, Dhanush’s bold wife and a mother of three children.
