Manjima Mohan, last seen in Malayalam cinema three years ago, is all set to make a comeback. She will again pair with Nivin Pauly, who she was seen with in the 2015 romantic comedy, Oru Vadakkan Selfie.

The new film Mikhayel directed by Haneed Adeni will see her play the female lead.

Taking to Twitter to post the announcement about being a part of the film, Nivin Pauly wrote earlier, “Super excited to announce my next project with one of the most stylish filmmaker #HaneefAdeni!! Titled #Mikhael, the film will be produced by my dearest #AntoJoseph! Rolling soon!” The film will be directed by Haneef Adeni and bankrolled by Joseph Anto under his banner Anto Joseph Film Company.

Soon after her debut in 2015, Manjima has been working in Tamil and Telugu films, which includes the Gautham Menon film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.

Even now she has a couple of projects in both Telugu as well as Tamil. She has Devarattam in Tamil and the NTR biopic in Telugu in her kitty needing attention.

Nivin Pauly too has the ambitious project Kayamkulam Kochunni directed by Rosshan Andrrews in which he plays the legendary highway man Kayamkulam Kochunni. The film also stars Mohanlal in an extended cameo, with Priya Anand, Priyanka Thimmesh and Sunny Wayne in pivotal roles. Gopi Sunder is composing music for this film with Binod Pradhan cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing it. Kayamkulam Kochunni is made on a budget of Rs. 45 crore and is the most expensive Malayalam film to be made till date.

Besides this film, Nivin also has the Geetu Mohandas directorial Moothon needing his attention. The shooting of this film is currently underway.

It is also heard Rosshan Andrrews is going to work with actor Nivin Pauly again, after their upcoming film Kayamkulam Kochunni has released. It is believed to be a thriller penned by Rosshan’s favourite scriptwriter duo Bobby and Sanjay.
