Mammootty’s fans are elated about the release of the first look poster of his upcoming release Puthan Panam. Written and directed by ace director Ranjith, the film reportedly has Mammootty playing a middle-aged businessman named Nithyananda Shenoy who is based out of Kasargod. Puthan Panam is likely to delve on the current financial situation prevailing in the country, especially black money.

What makes the first look poster intriguing is Mammootty’s look. He is seen sporting a very different look to fit into the role and fans are waiting eagerly to know what is in store for them in Puthan Panam. The movie is bankrolled by Ranjith, Abraham Mathew and Arun Narayanan under the banner Three Colour Cinema. Shahbaz Aman has composed the tunes for Puthan Panam and Om Prakash has cranked the camera. The star cast includes Saud Nihal, Renji Panicker, Mammukoya, Siddique, Saikumar, Iniya, Sheelu Abraham, Abu Salim and Hareesh Perumanna.

Shot extensively in Kasargod, Kochi, Rameswaram and Goa, Puthan Panam is slated for a Vishu release on April 14th, 2017. It’s been a long time since Ranjith and Mammootty teamed up for a film and this has raised the expectation levels even higher.
