The first look poster of the Mammootty starrer Oru Kuttanadan Blog was unveiled by the star himself on his Facebook page and has garnered the attention of his fans. Clad in a white dhoti and red shirt, the poster shows Mammootty fishing on the bank of a lake. Sources in the know say that he plays a middle aged man who is a role model to all the youth in the village.
While Mammootty plays the lead role, Oru Kuttanadan Blog has three heroines in the star cast- Raai Laxmi, Anu Sithara and Shamna Kasim. Vineeth Sreenivasan will be making a cameo appearance in the film.
The others in the star cast of this comedy entertainer include Siddique, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Nedumudi Venu, Adil Ibrahim and Jude Anthony Joseph. The shooting of this film commenced in March this year and will be Mammootty’s next release of the year. Sources in the know say that its makers are planning it as an Onam release.
It may be mentioned here that Oru Kuttanadan Blog was initially titled as Kozhy Thankachan but it was later renamed as the story will be narrated through a blog.
Popular actor Unni Mukundan has been assisting the director in this venture. Sethu of the Sachi – Sethu duo, a well-known script writer, will be making his debut as a director with Oru Kuttanadan Blog. The film is bankrolled by PK Muralidharan and Shantha Muralidharan under the banner Anantha Vision.
Meanwhile, Mammootty is busy with the shooting of YSR biopic titled Yaatra. The shooting of this Telugu film is currently on and the star is staging a comeback to Tollywood after several years with the Mahi V Raghav directorial.
