Nine years ago, Nivin Pauly made his acting debut with the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial Malarvaadi Arts Club and since then there was no looking back for the techie turned actor. Recalling the day, nine years later, he wrote, “This day, 9-years ago, #Malarvadi changed my life forever. A big thank you to Vineeth Sreenivasan and to everyone for the love & support!”
Along with the post he put a screenshot of the opening credits when it says, ‘Introducing Nivin Pauly’.
The film turned out to be a massive success paving way for Nivin to bag some of the best roles in his career. It was also the directorial debut of Vineeth Sreenivasan, and acting debut of Aju Varghese and Bhagath Manuel. The story dealt with a group of five friends, one of whom drifts apart while finding success in a reality show.
Nivin is currently busy with a number of films of which Moothon and Love Action Drama are in the post-production stage.
Moothon is directed by Geetu Mohandas. National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is cranking the camera. Handling the editing department of Moothon is Ajithkumar while Govind Vasantha is in charge of the music department. The movie is funded jointly by Bollywood filmmaker Anand L Rai’s production house Colour Yellow Productions and Jar Pictures. Eros International will be presenting the movie.
Also, the shooting of the Dhyan Sreenivasan directorial, Love Action Drama has been wrapped up and it is in the post-production mode. Besides directing the film, Dhyan has also penned the script for this flick. The film has Sreenivasan, Urvasi, Aju Varghese, Dhanya Balakrishnan, and director Antony Joseph, playing pivotal roles in it. Dhyan has roped in a strong technical team for Love Action Drama. Shaan Rahman is the music composer for this flick while the lyrics have been penned by Dhyan’s brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. Jomon T John is cranking the camera and the editing is done by Vivek Harshan with the art direction being taken care of by Ajay Mangadu.
