Not permitted to shoot in the State Assembly, director Koratala Siva has erected a set which is an exact replica of the building at a studio in Hyderabad.

According to reports, the Bharath Ane Nenu team had sought permission to shoot a few scenes in the State Legislative Assembly but was denied permission.

Following this, the director decided to erect a set and continue with the shooting there. Sources close to the Mahesh Babu starrer say that these are vital scenes in the film; therefore, the filmmakers have invested a huge amount on erecting the sets.

Interestingly, Mahesh Babu plays the role of the Chief Minister in the movie which makes it clear why the filmmakers had to erect the sets resembling the Legislative Assembly.

Produced by DVV Dhanayya under the banner Universal Entertainments, the film’s shooting commenced last month and has been progressing at a brisk pace since then.

Bharath Ane Nenu has Kiara Advani is playing the female lead with Devi Sri Prasad composing the tunes.

It may be mentioned here that this is the second time Koratala Siva is directing Mahesh Babu with their first outing being the smash hit Srimanthudu.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s next film, Spyder, is gearing up for release on September 27.

This AR Murugadoss directorial was supposed to hit the silver screens on June 23, but had to be postponed due to the filmmakers opting for a change in climax.

Spyder is a spy thriller that has Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead with Bharath and SJ Suryah in important roles.

The film’s shooting is almost over and it is currently into the post production mode.
