Mahesh Babu fans in for double treat on actor's birthday on August 9

There is truly a double treat for all Mahesh Babu’s fans out there.

The actor’s birthday, August 9, will be special for his fans as there are plans to release the teaser of his upcoming release Spyder, along with the poster of Bharath Ane Nenu as well.

Spyder, which is scheduled as a Dusshera release this year has gone into the post production mode.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has been made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously thereby marking the star’s debut in the Tamil film industry.

Interestingly, the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the movie has been bagged by the production house major Lyca Productions for a whopping Rs. 25 crore, making it one of the best deals in the recent times.

The film is a spy thriller and has Mahesh Babu playing an Intelligence officer, while the star cast also includes Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Surya, Bharath and RJ Balaji.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Bharath Ane Nenu is progressing at a swift pace. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is touted to be a political drama.

Playing the female lead in it is Kiara Advani. The film also has Sarath Kumar in a crucial role.

Clarifying on the film, the director had said in an interview that though it is a political movie, it is completely fictitious.

Koratala Siva has made it clear that he did not draw inspiration from any of the current politicians and there would be no jibes on the current political situation or issues.

A set resembling the state Legislative Assembly has been built where the shooting is currently on.
