Actor Mahesh Babu is on a roll. Even before the release of his film Spyder directed by AR Murugadoss, the Tollywood superstar has signed his 25th film, which will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally of Oopiri fame.
The muhurtham of the untitled film, tentatively called ‘Mahesh 25’, was held on Monday.

While Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring music for the film, cinematographer PS Vinodh will be helming the camera. However, the female lead of the film is yet to be announced.
This is for the first time that the actor would be working with Vamshi, whose last film Oopiri was a success in both Telugu and Tamil. Oopiri was released as Thozha in Tamil.
Devi Sri Prasad previously worked with Mahesh Babu for 1-Nenokaddine.
Mahesh 25 will be produced under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations by Dil Raju along with Vyjayanthi films, owned by C Ashwini Dutt.
Ashwini Dutt had previously produced Mahesh Babu’s debut film as hero, Raja Kumarudu.
This is the second time that the star will be working with Dil Raju. Their previous combination—Seethama Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu made in 2013 starring Venkatesh, Anjali, Samantha, Prakash Babu and others was a huge hit at the box office.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the actor’s 24th film Spyder film released a week ago, clocking more than six lakh views. The film stars Rakul Preet and SJ Suryah, with music by Harris Jayaraj.
