Naga Chaitanya’s next, titled as Savyasachi will start rolling soon.

The groundwork to take this project on the floors has been completed and the team will begin shooting the portions that don’t require Naga Chaitanya.

With the star busy with his wedding arrangements, as it is slated to take place next month in Goa, plans are on to go ahead with shooting the scenes that doesn’t require his presence.

Helming the project would be Chandoo Mondeti who had directed Naga Chaitanya in Premam earlier. An interesting info that has trickled out about Savyasachi is that veteran actor R Madhavan has been roped in to play a pivotal role.

Reports suggest that Madhavan was extremely thrilled over the role he has been offered and is waiting to join the film unit.

A source close to the film unit told IANS, “Madhavan has been offered a very prominent role. He really liked the script and has already given his principal nod. Very soon, he will officially sign on the dotted line.”

On his role in the film, the source was quoted as saying, “It’s definitely the kind of role he hasn’t played so far. It’s too early to talk about the type of character he will be essaying.”

It may be mentioned here that Madhavan was last seen in the Tamil film Vikram Vedha, which had him play an encounter specialist in pursuit of the gangster Vedha played by Vijay Sethupathi.

Savyasachi has two heroines added to the star cast and they are Anu Emmanuel and Anupama Parameswaran. The film is being bankrolled by Rajesh Diwakar under his banner Mythri Movie Makers.

Naga Chaitanya has had two releases this year - Rarandoi Veduka Chudham and Yuddham Sharanam. Savyasachi will hit the silver screens next year.
