Jayaram’s next film Lonappante Mamodisa, directed by Leo Thaddeus, has just wrapped up shooting schedules and is gearing up for release. According to a report published on Times of India, Jayaram is reported to have told that, “It’s after a long time since Sathyan Anthikad’s films that I have enjoyed the shooting of a movie. From the beginning of this film, there was a positive vibe and it continued all through to the end of the movie.” 

The actor plays a middle-aged bachelor who runs a watch repair shop. It is a complete family entertainer that revolves around Jayaram and his three sisters. Set in a village backdrop, Lonappante Mamodisa will have in its cast actors Kaniha, Anna Rajan, Hareesh Kanaran and Innocent in pivotal roles with Shanthi Krishna, Nisha Sarang and Eva Pavithran roped in to play Jayaram’s sisters. 

Reports about Lonappante Mamodisa are that Jayaram receives a marriage proposal and what ensues later is told hilariously. The film’s technical crew include Alphons Joseph for music with Hari Narayanan and Jofi Tharakan penning the lyrics, Sudheer Surendran for camera work, Ranjan Abraham for editing, Joseph Nellikkal for production design, Dhanya Balakrishnan for costume designing, and Pattanam Rasheed for make-up. 

The film’s shooting has been wrapped up recently and it has gone into the post production stage. According to reports, Lonappante Mamodisa  may be out at the theatres later this year or early next year. 

Apart from this film, several offers pouring Jayaram’s way. According to the latest reports doing rounds, he has inked a deal to star in a Tamil film that will have Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role. He also has director Venkat Prabhu's Tamil flick Party. The movie was shot in Fiji Island and features Jai, Kayal Chandran, Sathyaraj , Nassar and Ramya Krishnan.
