As Day 7 of the pro-jallikattu protests dawned at Marina beach, the agitators were greeted by a large number of police personnel, who asked them to leave Marina and end the protests. But the students and youngsters protesting at the beach have refused to budge. While many people, especially fishermen, are continuing to join the protests, a lot of the agitators have formed a human chain near the sea and are threatening to jump in if the police action continues.
