The big day is here!

The results of the much-awaited Kerala assembly elections 2016 held on May 16 will be announced today. A record turnout of 77.35% was recorded in this assembly election, and most surveys have predicted a win for the LDF.

With 80 counting centres across the state, vote counting will be completed in 12 rounds. A total of 1203 candidates, including 109 women candidates are contesting for the 140 assembly seats.
