LG has launched its latest 5-camera smartphone, the LG V40 ThinQ in the Indian market. The triple camera setup in the rear and a dual camera combination in the front are definitely the most talked about features of this phone.

On the basic specifications, the LG V40 ThinQ comes with a 6.4-inch P-OLED full HD+ display, with the screen resolution reading 1440 x 3120 pixels, offering a very high pixel density of 537ppi. The screen’s aspect ratio is 19.5:9 ratio, ensuring a screen to body ratio close to 84%. The screen gets protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845SoC with a 6GB RAM. Onboard storage in the variant launched in India is 128GB while there is a 64GB variant originally launched by LG. You can expand the storage via a microSD card up to 512GB.

The Android Oreo, version8.1 OS with the LG UX 7.1 UI skin will be running the device and power support is from a 3300mAh Li-Po battery.

As mentioned, the USP of this LG V40 ThinQ smartphone is its camera outfit that features a 16MP+12MP+12MP rear sensor combination. Understandably, the 16MP sensor is the primary one and the last mentioned is a telephoto lens. An 8MP sensor plus a 5MP wide-angle lens adorn the front selfie camera module.

And the phone will not lack in technology support for these cameras with features including Cine Shot, 3D Light Effect, and AR emojis and white balance, smarter composition, and shutter modes.

As for the other specs, there is the physical fingerprint sensor and the communications suite is complete in all respects. A Quick Charge 3.0 feature ensures faster charging of the device. New Platinum Gray, Carmine Red, New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue are the colours the phone is being sold.

The LG V40 ThinQ has been priced for the Indian market at Rs 60,000 but there a host of launch-time offers with Amazon including this model in the Amazon Great Indian Sale and offering it at Rs 49,990. You could opt for interest-free EMIs and gain the cashback offers by some banks.
