Lenovo has launched a whole new range of laptops and tablets for the Indian market giving a wide choice to the customers. Calling them ‘Thin and Light’, Lenovo has fitted the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors. The products include ThinkPad X, T and L series models and the top of the line X1 Tablet, X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga devices sport some unique features which are highlighted. Lenovo devices do have a reputation for security and the new products will be no exception. Glance eye-tracking with IR camera is one such feature.

On the audio and display front, there are the Dolby Vision HDR and 500 NITS beak brightness features. Use of carbon fiber in building the shell gives the X1 Carbon laptops the lowest weight in the 14-inch range in any brand. And the chassis is quite strong as well. The USP of X1 Yoga is that it is considered the world’s only convertible with an integrated pen and Global LTE-A capability. These laptops have a price range of Rs 1,21,000 to Rs 1,26,000.

The products in the ThinkPad X series are X280, X380 and their prices range from Rs 73,000 to Rs 87,000. These are rugged devices meant to withstand the harshest of conditions. Their batteries are also designed to charge up 80% in just over an hour and the X280 model is capable of running a good 16 hours on a full charge. The other models also offer long battery life. The thin and light concept runs with these models as well.

The ThinkPad T series laptops form the next lower end of the spectrum and in terms of the price range, it starts from Rs 69,000 to Rs 86,000. Some of the common security and display features described above as well as extended battery life can be seen on these ThinkPad T480s and T580s also.             

ThinkPad l series come next and these can be bought at prices starting from Rs 54,000 going up to Rs 65,000 for the different variants.

Lenovo has also used the AMD processors in some of the models. These devices, now in the Indian market open up a wide choice for the customers.
