Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara is making her Tamil debut with Ajith’s Vivegam, which is gearing up for release in August. Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist, the film is tipped to be a spy-thriller made on a whopping budget of over Rs. 100 crore and on a never-before-seen scale. While Akshara’s role has been heavily guarded, she has however revealed that she learnt a lot from the experience.

Talking to Deccan Chronicle, she said, “I am not at liberty to reveal anything about the film, but to talk about my experience of working in the film; I should say it was a great. It is one film that I will never forget. Also, it has taught me a lot.”

According to reports, she is set to make her Kannada debut with actor Vikram, second son of superstar Ravichandran. However, she clarified that she hasn’t signed any Kannada film.

Directed by Siva, who has teamed up for the third time with Ajith after Veeram and Vedalam, the film has been predominantly shot across exotic locations in Europe. Going by the promos, Ajith looks his stylish best in the film and has also set an example by sporting six-pack abs despite a long history of medical problems. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Vivegam has music by Anirudh Ravichander and it is loosely based on Liam Neeson’s Taken, according to industry grapevine. After the first track Surviva became a viral sensation, the second single from the album – Thala Viduthalai – will be released on July 10.
