The LDF will begin a statewide march on Saturday from Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod against the BJP – RSS propaganda and their fascist agenda. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the march.

The march will be led by CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran later as per a report in the Deccan Chronicle.

Kodiyeri Balakrishnan will lead the march that begins from Kasaragod and will conclude on November 3.

The march will address key issues like the adverse impact of neo-liberal policies in the country and the growing Hindutva agenda of the central government, the report states.

The LDF wants to communicate these ideas effectively and directly at the ground level.

The march which will cover all the 140 assembly constituencies will mainly focus on all the economic and political problems faced by the people due to the anti-people policies of BJP.

LDF will highlight a series of social issue like crisis in farm sector, making public sector a more enclosed business and selective sale of public sector units.

The two week campaign will also address unemployment issues despite Modi’s promise to create 6 crore jobs annually.

The LDF march will also spread awareness about the growing intolerance across the country and the deliberate communal polarisation, the report adds.
