Following the success of Motta Siva Ketta Siva and Sivalinga, actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrencce is all set to team up with Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad for a period film set in 18th and 19th century. The Kanchana star is thrilled to be teaming up with the veteran writer.

Talking to Deccan Chronicle, he said, “It was Prasad sir who had suggested that I would be apt for the lead role since the story is full of Tamil nativity. When he narrated the one-liner, I was floored. Without any hesitation, I gave my nod. Prasad garu is in the process of completing the script. The massive scale and the story demanded it be done over two parts.”

He further added that the film will be based on real-life historical incidents with a bit of fiction added to it and will be made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Kajal Aggarwal is most likely to play the leading lady and she is already in talks with Prasad over the last one year. With work on the script underway, the project will require sets to be built on a massive scale and it is likely to be shot in Hyderabad or Chennai.

Lawrencce has the remake of Rajinikanth’s Mannan in his kitty, apart from the sequel to Chandramukhi. He also has Moondru Mugam remake which he will be producing as well as acting in. In the film, he will be seen in triple roles, donning the khaki uniform.
