The News Minute | December 1, 2014 | 2.45 pm IST Former national football player I M Vijayan has alleged that experts, including him, were not involved in the selection process of Kerala Blasters Indian Super League (ISL) team. He also criticized the management of Blasters and said that ISL did not help Kerala in any way. He reportedly claimed that good players were not included in the team. “Lack of good players is the reason behind the team’s failure. The selection process was not proper and did not involve good players from the state” he told media. Vijayan lashed out at the management of the team for excluding himself and former national player Jo Paul Ancheri from the selection process. He also added that foreign players did not use their talents for the success of the team. Former England England stopper David James is the player manager of the Kerala Blasters owned by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and his partner Prasad Potluri of PVP Ventures
