Director Koratala Siva is basking in glory over his last release Bharat Ane Nenu turning out to be a blockbuster. Telugu film buffs have been waiting eagerly for information about his next, particularly about who the hero will be. Some sources in Tollywood pointed out that the director is working on a script with megastar Chiranjeevi in mind. The director had discussed the project with Chiru and has got his approval, reveal sources.

If things work out as per plan, Koratala Siva may go ahead with the shooting from December or January onwards. By then, Chiru would have completed Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The shooting for this biopic is expected to be wrapped up soon and it is likely to hit the silver screens for Sankranthi next year.

With Koratala Siva working on the script, fans are excited as he will be teaming up with the megastar for the first time. We hear that the script is being drawn up keeping in mind the star’s image. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment.

Koratala Siva’s Bharat Ane Nenu, which released in April this year, had Mahesh Babu playing a university graduate who returns to India and is thrust into the role of a chief minister due to the sudden demise of his father. The film was a massive success at the box office. Made on a budget of Rs 65 crore, it went on to collect Rs 230 crore.

While talks about Koratala Siva directing Chiru seem to be true, we also hear that the director will be wielding the megaphone for a Jr NTR starrer after he is done with Chiru’s film. Koratala Siva and Jr NTR had earlier teamed up for Janatha Garage that had turned out to be a big hit and they will be associating for the second time much to the delight of their fans.
