Kiara Advani is in talks to play the female lead in Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film. The film, titled Fighter, will have Puri Jagannadh wielding the megaphone. Ever since this film was announced, speculations on Vijay Deverakonda’s lead pair turned out to be the hot topic. Kiara Advani and Vijay had worked together in a commercial and share a good rapport following which the hero reportedly suggested that she would be the apt choice to play the role in Fighter.

Apparently, it is a meaty role and Kiara is interested to be a part of the project. She is currently in the process of adjusting her dates and an official announcement is expected once she signs on the dotted lines.

On Vijay Deverakonda’s role, we hear that he plays a martial arts expert with a stutter. The groundwork for this project is on and the shooting will commence next year.

Vijay currently has the Telugu flick World Famous Lover in his kitty. Directed by Kranthi Madhav, the film has the hero as a playboy.  Also, reports suggest that it will be an out-and-out romantic entertainer. Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite have been roped in to play the female leads in this flick.

Vijay Deverakonda’s last release was Dear Comrade. Directed by Bharat Kamma, the film was also produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Kiara Advani’s debut in Tollywood was with the Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, which turned out to be a huge hit. She was then seen playing the female lead in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which had Ram Charan Teja as her lead pair.
