'KGF 2' makers reveal who is playing Adheera
Ending all speculations doing rounds, the makers of the film KGF 2 have revealed that the character of Adheera will be played by none other than Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. On the occasion of the actor’s sixtieth birthday, the makers of the film have released the first look poster of Sanjay Dutt in the role of Adheera.
“Presenting #MotherOfAllCollisions @duttsanjay as #Adheera. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Sir. #SanjayDuttAsAdheera in #KGFChapter2,” reads the tweet from the official handle of Kannada film producers Hombale Films.
KGF which was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, starred ‘Rocking Star’ Yash in the lead role as Raja Krishnappa “Rocky” Bairya, with Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead. The film was set in the backdrop of a mining field.
KGF depicts a world where a weak majority suffers at the hands of a powerful minority, where it takes that one man with the courage of his own convictions to bring in change.
Sanjay Dutt was last seen playing the role of Balraj Chaudhry in the Hindi film Kalank.

KGF 2 is a sequel to Kolar Gold Fields, or KGF which was released in December 2018 and was met with rave reviews. The film performed exceptionally well at the box-office and was received well by critics too. The movie was directed by Prashant Neel and bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur. The music was composed by Ravi Basrur. Cinematography was handled by Bhuvan Gowda, while Shivakumar was the art director for the movie.
