The News Minute | September 29, 2014 | 01:29 pm IST The principal of a Kerala school, Sasikala, was arrested after a student in the school was allegedly confined in a cage with a dog inside it.  Locals in Thiruvananthapuram protested following complaints that a nursery student was confined in a dog’s cage, with a dog inside it, for three hours as punishment. The incident has been reported from Kudapanakunnil English School in Thiruvananthapuram. Reports suggest that the child studying in UKG was talking about dogs while a class was going on, and as punishment, she was put inside the dog's cage with a dog inside it for almost three hours. It is unclear if the dog's cage was inside the school premises or adjacent to it.
