Crowdfunding platform Ketto has launched a campaign to raise money for those injured in the fire in Kerala’s Puttingal temple.
The tragedy struck around 3 am, and has claimed around 100 lives so far. Ketto has raised a target of Rs 3 lakh to be raised in 20 days. You can access the campaign here.
People living in Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram can go to blood banks and donate blood as most hospitals are facing shortage of blood.
The Prime Minister has announced Rs 2 lakh as compensation to the kin of those who died in the tragedy and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
Injured people have been taken to hospitals in Kollam, and more serious cases have been shifted to Thiruvananthapuram.
