The News Minute | June 3, 2014| 5:06 PM IST  During the election campaign Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had promised that a person from the minority community would be made the Deputy Chief Minister.  Keeping his promise Mahmood Ali, an Old City resident has been made the Deputy Chief Minister of the newly born state.Known to be a KCR loyalist Mahmood Ali has been with the party since its formation in 2001.  A pioneer of the dairy business in the old city, Mahmood Ali’s rise in the party has been slow and steady. He has fought many elections in the past without being successful. TRS has left no stone unturned to proclaim that KCR has kept his promise.
